Starobrno is good on can, too
Aaaah!
Rather than re-create my list of the 100 different types of beer of my 2002 New Years resolution, I decided to make a new list, and drink, not only another 100 different types of beer as my 2006 New Years resolution, but to focus on the experience itself, to determine the Beer of the Year 2006.
Aaaah!
Spendrups Old Gold is a good beer, but it was made a whole lot better by the occasion I had saved it for - my brother's black belt. Congratulations, Tom!

Ranking list, with the best, the worst, and the rest - so far:
The Best: Starobrno (read this)
The Worst: Farmor Hilda's öl
The Rest (in no particular order): Uppsala, Zeunerts Julöl, Grolsch
I guess all types of beer taste good after a week of 14-hour work days, especially in good company. Heres Ann, having a taste of the Grolsch.
It wasn't bad, but the 3rd beer of the year - Farmor Hildas öl from Guttsta Källa - was the worst one so far...but the dinner with Ann & Meija enhanced the experience.
January 5th, the 13th evening, also known as the 12th day, was Christmas Eve before the introduction (in Norway) of the Gregorian calendar in 1700. The day was celebrated as "Old Christmas" for a long time in Norway and Denmark.
Enjoyed the first beer of the year - a cold bottle of Uppsala from Slottskällans Bryggeri - at home in Uppsala, with an avocado and "skagenröra", in the company of Ann & Meija.
